SL7Expo is a community project. It relies on the public wide industry support to achieve its goal of creating the SL7Expo National Maritime Industry Exposition Center.
Individuals interested in the project can sign up as supporters at an annual fee of $100.
Supporters will be provided ready access to SL7Expo activities and Supporters will be officially recognized on the SL7Expo website. Once the exposition center opens, individuals will be further recognized on the Founding Supporters Display.
Become a Founding Member
Founding membership provides voting rights at an annual fee of $1000 and commensurate to donations made as a founding member. Founding Members will be will be officially recognized on the SL7Expo website. Once the exposition center opens, individuals will be further recognized on the Founding Members Display.
It is intended that membership dues will support SL7Expo operations, focusing on expanding public awareness of the SL7Expo concept and receiving an SL-7 vessel donation from the U.S Government through the Maritime Administration (MARAD). Dues also will initially be used for design and technical development of the project and eventually for the physical realization of the project.
Once the physical realization of the project is underway, the board at its sole discretion may choose to add additional membership categories and adjust dues.
SL7Expo will also accept donations towards the SL7Expo Development Fund. Donations to this fund are tax deductible as charitable donations and will be applied to the physical realization of the SL7Expo Concept.
